Now that we’re back and getting unpacked, I’m hoping to have more time to cook (and bake!) In between the wedding, honeymoon, and second wedding dinner in Hawaii, I’ve volunteered to be a part of the Food Blogger Bake Sale here in San Diego, organized by our very own Marie of Meandering Eats.
The event will raise funds for Share Our Strength, who strives to end childhood hunger, and will be held at Great News! in Pacific Beach on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 10 am to 2 pm. I hope you’ll be able to stop by, even if you don’t feel like buying anything. Although, seeing the lineup of bakers and bloggers participating, I’m not sure how anyone can walk away without a treat. I’ll be there, and I’m planning to have cups of tiramisu for sale – although, I think I’ll have to make my own ladyfingers since I forgot that they’re a seasonal item at Trader Joe’s. Seriously – what’s wrong with stocking them year round??
