Macy’s Culinary Council Event

There’s another San Diego cooking event going on later this month, but this one is free!

On July 31 at noon, Master Sommelier, cookbook author, TV personality and Macy’s Culinary Council chef Andrea Robinson will be appearing at Macy’s Mission Valley (1702 Camino Del Rio North) in San Diego for a free food and wine pairing demonstration. She also will be introducing her new line of stemware which she has named “The One”. The stemware collection includes two glasses: one suitable for all red wines and another that is optimum for all white wines. Furthermore, Andrea will also be on hand to sign copies of her new cookbook, Great Wine Made Simple.

Andrea will pour forth a lesson on the basics of proper food and wine partners while she shares some of her favorite recipes for you to sample. Customers making a purchase of The One stemware the day of the event will receive a complimentary copy of Andrea’s 2010 Wine Buying Guide for Everyone.

Following the cooking demonstration, Andrea will be available to meet and greet customers and sign copies of cookbook purchases made the day of the event. Andrea’s latest cookbook, Great Wine Made Simple, will be available for purchase the day of the event.

The event is free but seating is limited. Please call 1-877-884-3751 to reserve a space. For more information, visit www.macys.com/culinarycouncil
