The Jensen Project on NBC and a giveaway

Walmart and P&G have teamed up again to produce The Jensen Project on NBC Friday, July 16th, 2010.  The Jensen Project is a thrilling and fun science fiction adventure that focuses on the Thompson family who are reintroduced to The Jensen Project – a secret community of geniuses conducting advanced underground research to solve the world’s most difficult problems. The family finds themselves forced into a frantic pursuit to keep a potentially dangerous technology from falling into the wrong hands.

From what I’ve seen (I was sent a teaser DVD and more popcorn), it’s like that movie about the kids of superheroes who go to school (does anyone remember what that movie was?) but without superpowers.  Just super-brains.  It’s a cute tv movie, something to watch on a lazy day with a bowl of good popcorn.  And, if you have someone like Travis in your life who likes to ridicule silly shows, preferably by yourself.

MS&L is letting me host a giveaway for another DVD/soundtrack combo for The Jensen Project.  I get a copy and one of you get a copy!  If you’d like to enter, leave a comment on this post and tell me what you’re watching on tv this summer before 11:59 PM Thursday, July 15th, 2010.

  1. I don’t watch a whole lot of TV, but as far as summer shows go I really like “The Closer”. There are also a bunch of HBO/Showtime things I wish I could see (True Blood, Dexter, Entourage), but alas, no premium cable for me.

  2. I think the movie you’re thinking of is Sky High with Kurt Russell. I’m spending way too much time watching TV right now: “Leverage”, “Burn Notice”, “Being Human”, “Haven”, “Hell’s Kitchen”, “Eureka”, “Warehouse 13” and that’s just to name a few. Got done watching all of True Blood Season 2 this week, which was better than Season 1. Can’t wait for Dexter Season 4 to come out on DVD (no premium channels either).

  3. My favorites this summer: White Collar, Royal Pains, Burn Notice, Leverage, Lie to Me, and The Closer. Hmmm, maybe Lie to Me is not playing this summer.

  4. My favorite program to watch is Leverage. I also like Bones and The Closer.
    Thanks for the chance!

  5. The Closer! It just started its new season last week. Also, the new seasons of Top Chef, Hells Kitchen, True Blood, and Entourage.

  6. Watching Flashpoint, Wipeout, and Hell’s Kitchen. Thinking about Rookie Blue, but not too sure about it yet.
